Monday 19th of June 2006
The first day of June Council Camp cum Stand-down Ceremony. I reached school super early at 7.30pm because of some reasons. haha.. I just know that I am so super stupid and blur that day. =x The camp started at 8.00am. Sec 2s n 3s in needlework room, while sec 4s n 5s in council room. They were planning for graduation night and teachers day i guess. Thats why they don't allow sec 4s n 5s to go to needlework room. So the sec 4s n 5s have to stay in council room and planned for our performance and rehearse it or make props till 10.30am. So we went to hall and do everything till 10.30 am. Then went to needlework room together and start the camp officially. First thing we did was survival lunch cooking. We traded the foods that we were given and started cooking it. haha.. All the foods came out so creative and interesting and yummy. haha. =x And my group MOO MOO got 1st for the survival cooking! hahaha.. =D All thanks to my idea of making chicken soup to sharks fins.. hahaha.. so rubbish. =x Then after lunch we went to the field and parade square for games. The first game I had was tug-of-war. At first my group was at the losing ends, as my group members were mainly girls except for 2 guys while the other group got strong guys and girls, people like ah ma, louis and jacquelyn. Then my group came out with strategy and we keep leaning backwards and then started pull backwards together as a group and finally we DEFEATED ah ma's group! YeAH!! so strategy does helps! I am so impressed and so happy when we beat the other group 2 times in a row! haha.. then 2nd game we had was the oily captain's ball. I think this was the best game cause i love captain ball all long. hahaa.. but this time, we got a real huge and OILY ball. haha.. =D But afterall we lose to another team cause they actually managed to score 1. so the end we got 1-0. haha.. but it was real fun! The 3rd game was to make bread and let your another group of team members to eat the bread up. Kind of disgusting, but fun, and afterall my group win ah ma group again! haha.. so happy! The finale game was a really long game but exciting one, playing with eggs and balloons and apples and all. hahaha.. Really had great great fun! =D After all the dirty games, we were divided for bath and prepare for performance. Until 5.30, we finish our rehearsals and bath. Then Miss Lim told the sec 4s n 5s one news, which is the caterer which they had for dinner didn't recieved the fax that miss lim send. So in the end, dinner was not catered so we were ask to be mentally prepared for KFC n pizza! The sec 4s don't mind it at all. we were all so excited for the dinner because it was the first time we had kfc n pizza for stand-down! All i could say is the sec 4s n 5s were all a very nice batch. haha.. we were easily satisfied and is ok for any changes and we really look to the bright side! =D hahaha... the dinner was great! we had the juniors served us and thanks for the hardwork like scraping the pineapples, the flowers and table cloth and everything. It was really nice. the food was ok too. =D And we celebrated marlisa birthday! make her so super touched. haha... and the juniors hand-made brownies for us too. haha.. one funny thing was one of the brownie had cockcroach!! ahahaha.. =p all of the sec 4s n 5s were shocked! but in the end we still ate the brownies! it was nice! =D so touched for everything. Then the performance. It was great i guess, but think that the juniors don't get what we were acting.. hahaha.. but never mind. enjoyed ourselves can le. The stand-down ceremony was great too. The theme was Ohana?[dunnoe spell correctly not] it was like the aloha idea the sec 4s n 5s had for last year grad nite, which was totally rejected by the sec 4s last year. But it was great that they put it for stand-down. I was so super touched, we had a ring of flowers given by them and we need to go down through a pole. ahaha.. =D It was really fun and it reminds me of the aloha idea i had last year. Make it for stand-down was nice. =D During the ppt slides, the juniors were crying, while the sec 4s n 5s were laughing like mad, I can only say that my batch was really a crazy batch.. haha.. even when we guys were giving speeches were all soo funny and full of crap kind.. hahaha.. making everyone laugh... until my speech, hahaha.. i make ppl cry.. =x then we sang songs and recieve the beautiful gift, hand-made slippers.. than we cry and hug one another... and finally the whole thing ended. we had officially stand-down. But we will always be a temasek student councillor!~ The whole day had been great and i really enjoyed! thanks for everything juniors!!

The 2nd day and the last day of June camp. It was raining in the morning, so must wait till the rain stop before we can go to east coast for building sand-castle activity. =p in the mean time we were playing with the super huge ball.haha.. alot of funny things happen. Finally the rain stopped and we reach east coast. Realise alot of funny tools and learn how to use the tools to build beautiful sand-castles. And finally we started and build. All the castles were nice. Nothing much to talk about cause we just spent the whole day building it.. haha.. =x Finally everything is over, we had our lunch there and walked back to school. Then reach school another funny thing happen. Last night some of us were making banana ice cream for the juniors then after making and put into the freezer it was 3 plus already. so today actually wanted to take out n give to everyone, then we realise that mdm goh thought the banana ice cream was barbecue stuff, so she actually took out and DEFROZE it! can u believe it? our hardwork just gone like tat.. hahaha... it was a super funny thing that happen and it was the last weirdest thing that happen for this camp. afterall this camp is really super memorable.. haha.. thanks for everything! thanks for the gift too! I reall enjoyed myself to the fullest!
